HAPPY
NEW YEAR EVERYONE...AND NOW BACK TO WORK...After seeing
the New Year in with our nearest and dearest in the hallowed rooms
of Oxford's Zodiac, we find ourselves already half way through January
and as glum as you like. Winter blues. To alleviate our strain,
we’re busy writing and demoing some exciting new trappings
from our bunker, deep in Oxfordshire. Hopefully we’ll be unleashing
some of this on you soon. As you should know with us by now, we
get bored easily and so once again are experimenting with new ideas.
The next rack of live shows are starting up for us this week, seeing
us blast our way down to Southeast London’s New Cross Inn
to bring our electro dance pop to the wonderful scene buzzing down
there. God bless Caffy St Luce and all at Rocklands. We hope to
see you there.
Hope you liked the photos from our short Italian adventure!

MERRY
CHRISTMAS EVERYONE...Well we're back from our first visit
to Europe. It really did feel like we were in "Planes, Trains
and Automobiles" at times. After flying into Milan we had time
for a little site seeing before playing in the fashion capital.
A good night was had before we headed to Turin via not so high speed
train. We had a really top night in El Bario and a massive thank
you to Mario and co for having us.
A
huge hello to all the friends we made out there and we are hoping
to come back in the New Year sooner rather than later.
We
have footage and some pics which we hope to be up on the site soon.
Keep a look out in the New Year.
We
have one more gig in Oxford at the old Point on Fri, before the
New Year kicks off with some recording. A massive thank you everyone
who has helped and supported this year. Lets hope next year is even
more productive and successfull. We'll have adrink for u this New
Year's eve. CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT'S
WET AND COLD...The recent wet and very cold spells we've
had here, have seen us locked away in our studio, huddled around
the clapped out heater, working away writing new songs and we have
to tell you that they are giving us the goosebumps! Over the past
two days, we've laid down a working demo of the first of these songs
and we'll be playing it live for the first time at our forthcoming
Italian shows. deutsche Tanzmusik.

SERBIA AND MONTENEGRO, HOLLAND, YOU NAME IT THEY'RE PLAYING IT...We're
very happy to hear that our album is getting lots of airplay from
all our friends around the world. Rodney continues to spin "West
End" while our European friends are sending out other album
tracks across the airwaves. Keep it coming!
It's
only three weeks and counting now before we set off for Italy. We've
been busy sorting out flights, kit oh and a new song which we hope
to debut out there.

THANKS
FOR THE SUPPORT...Sorry for the delayed response, but a
big thanks to everyone who came down to The Wheatsheaf last Saturday.
It was great to see so many people there, especially dancing down
the front. We had a great time and really enjoyed both The Sequins
and Hotknife Jackson. We were sorry to hear though that a group
of our lovely fans from Bicester who came down to the gig were turned
away. Don't worry, I'm sure we'll be playing these parts again soon
and it would be great to see u there.

CLOSE
BUT NO PUDSEY...A BIG THANKYOU GOES OUT TO THE MANY PEOPLE FROM
THE UK AND AROUND THE WORLD WHO VOTED TO HELP US GET ONTO THE CHILDREN
IN NEED BBC CONCERT...Noel and I are extremely grateful
for the many people that showed their support for us by voting in,
and in such large numbers, but unfortunatley we didn't quite make
it somehow. Good luck to Harry Angel and the rest of the bands,
we hope it's a great day. We have a silver lining to lift our spirits
though...our good, good friend DJ Martini Bros has been working
his socks off and got us lined up for two December shows in Italy,
one in Milan and one in Turin. See Upcoming Shows for more information.
We're also off to see DJ Wolfie at Reading's Blast 1386FM on Wednesday
this week. So listen out for that if you can...it'll be better than
a Chris Moyles pod cast that's for sure.
Gigs
this week see us at The Shed in Leicester on Thursday 10th and our
home show at The Wheatsheaf in Oxford on Saturday 12th. Come on
down and move like a robot from 1984..

TECHNICAL
PROBLEMS PLAUGE READING GIG BUT THE BOYS BATTLE ON We think
a test of nerve and resolve was passed on Friday's gig in reading.
Technical problems, unsolvable at the venue, saw us having to drop
soundcheck and bomb it back past Oxford to get some more equipment
back to the venue to be able to provide sound. A nightmare-ish time
to say the least as we arrived back with minutes to spare before
going on-stage. The set was a bit hit and miss sonically but we
managed to dig in and pull out an energetic performance for the
patient crowd. Thank you to everyone who cam to support us and Velocity
on the night, it was very much appreciated and we hope to see you
in the not too distant future with fewer problems! Good luck to
The Race who are playing this Friday
down at Brighton's lovely Pressure
Point.

wishes,

the cavern like cubby-holes to tap their feet and get their first
glimpse of the 100 Bullets Back electro-pop-dance machine. We hope
to see you all again soon...Now onto Reading for our album launch
party in the sonic home of Velcoity Recordings, The Rising Sun Arts
Centre....We'll meet you all under the massive toad at 8.30pm.

ALBUM
IN PRESSING
We are pleased to say that Refute Fake Icons has now gone
to the pressing plant. At last! Since finishing recording the album
a few months ago we have been finalising artwork details which we
now pleased to say are finished. A release date has also now been
set and this will be 26 September 2005. There will
be a launch party and a number of gigs booked to promote the album,
full details nearer the time. We would like to thank evderyone who
worked on the album and artwork with us. We know who you are, you
know we're greatful!
In
other news, following a couple of test runs at the last two shows,
we will now be performing live as a 2 piece. We would like to thank
both John and Brett for their efforts playing live over the past
months and look forward to working with them again in the future.
We
are really excited with the slimmed down line up and are modifying
our set up to compliment it. Keep your eyes pealed for the new live
100BB experience...

ALBUM
TITLE ANNOUNCED After kicking around a number of titles,
we have decided upon REFUTE FAKE ICONS
for our limited run album which is expected to be released in July.
A set date is yet to be arranged.

THE
ALBUM HAS BEEN MASTERED, BUT A GIG CANCELLED Our Saturday
show at The Metro has been pulled and we won't be appearing. We're
not best pleased as we were looking forward to playing to our London
friends. Hopefully it shall not be long before we are back there.
Onto better news, our album has been mastered at Turan Audio which
leaves us with the task of the artwork and title. We thought the
recording was hard enough, but this is something else!

THE
WEB MEDIA HAS ARRIVED!! After months of promising video
web diary entries, we can at last raise the curtain on our first
installment of this new and exciting dimension to our website. Those
from farther afield in other countries who have contacted us, will
now get a better insight to 100 Bullets Back. The
footage below is from our recent show on the 02-04-05 in London's
Water Rats Theatre, Kings Cross, performing a new song "Wichita"
(also available to download from our MP3 page currently
for FREE!!) which will be on our from our forthcoming album
due for release in July. You can either watch the footage on this
webpage by clicking the "play" button (you will have to
wait for a few moments while the file gets loading!) or click on
the link below the video box to watch the footage in a Windows Media
Player external viewer.
You
will probably find a Broadband connection is the only way of viewing
this properly.......enjoy.

THE
ALBUM IS ON ITS WAY! After months of reading entry after
entry saying we've been locked away in the studio grafting, we weren't
joking, the hard work has already been evident at our shows but
will now be taking further shape with our debut album, expected
to drop at the end of June. It's sounding HOT! Can't wait to get
it out there.
On
the gig front, we have an exciting set of shows lined up from March
onwards, particularly one with our friends from New York city, ALUMINUM
BABE, stopping in for a cup of tea and a noisy chat in
Oxford with us and OFF THE RADAR (see Upcoming
Shows for more detail). See the cool kids there. The Photo
below is from our recent show at Oxford's Wheatsheaf (click on it

THANK
YOU TO ALL AT THE SOLD OUT WHEATSHEAF SHOW We'd like to
say a big "thank you" to everyone who came and enjoyed
themselves at the show last night in The Wheatsheaf. We enjoyed
ourselves very much and were glad to see so many of you there and
invading our stage at times...Lawrence! Special thanks goes to everyone
including Hayley and her family who weren't able to get in at the
start of the evening due to eager, early punters, Mark Cope's new
band NINE STONE COWBOY and POKEY's supporters packing the place
out!!! Good work. Everyone got inside eventually and the show seemed
to be enjoyed by all. To those who didn't get one of our free cds,
you can actually download all the mp3 tracks we give out on cd at
gigs in full and free from our mp3
page. We hope to see you all again soon. Cheers x

HAPPY
NEW YEAR! A GIG RESCHEDULED AND A GIG CANCELLED Hello to
you all. Christmas and New Year already seems so far away as the
prospect of another busy year has already gripped us. We've been
working steadily in the studio (yes, more) recording new songs all
over December and early January which we will be playing live in
February. They include JUNK FOOD, WEST END and HEART. The Wheatsheaf
gig which was booked for the Saturday 5th February has been rescheduled
for SATURDAY 26th FEBRUARY. We have also had to pull out of our
gig at 93 Feet East in London, which was scheduled for the 21st
February. Hopefully we'll be back in the big smoke soon.

MERRY
CHRISTMAS AND WELCOME TO OUR DIARY The last few days have
been spent finishing off our new three track demo cd which has been
roughly 4 months in the making in total. We're quite happy about
this to say the least! It didn't take us 4 months to just do three
songs, there is a bit of new stuff too. The tracks chosen are DOG
BITES MAN, I KNOW and WICHITA. The first two have been around for
some time, but it's only recently we've got them sounding as we
had envisaged. Gigs are in the process of being booked ready for
late January with new songs appearing in the set. We'll keep you
posted with information on this as we get it. We're hoping to get
a media player section on here soon where you'll be able to watch
video clips of us from the studio, gigs and general stuff. This
may be a little while yet as we're yet to master that part of website
publishing! Cheers, David and Noel.
